November Observances
November is a month filled with opportunities to honor heritage, express gratitude, and give back. This month, we celebrate Native American Heritage Month, recognizing the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of Indigenous communities. We also observe Día de los Muertos to honor loved ones who have passed. On Veterans Day, we thank those who have served our country. World Kindness Day is a reminder of the power of compassion in our everyday lives. Lastly, Thanksgiving is a time to gather with loved ones, share gratitude, and celebrate connection. We can also use this time to reflect on the holiday’s history and seek opportunities to learn about and uplift Indigenous perspectives.
