As a dedicated Big Sister and 5-year monthly donor, I’m excited to share that Big Brothers Big Sisters has launched The Match Maker Society, a dedicated community of monthly donors quietly helping to sustain life-changing mentoring programs.
I’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact consistent giving has—on the organization and on so many young lives, including my Little Sister Alaina.
Watching Alaina grow over the past 10 years has been an incredible journey. From our first hikes and beach yoga sessions to deep conversations about her future, I’ve seen her turn a childhood dream into a tangible reality. Her determination to become a pediatric ENT surgeon—rooted in her own challenges—has been inspiring, and I’m so proud to have played a part in encouraging her path. Seeing her now, approaching graduating college in December, on track to attend medical school, is a testament to her resilience and the power of mentorship to shape futures.
